The Center for Psychosocial Organization Studies invites applications for the position of Doctoral Research Associate. This is an unpaid but flexible opportunity for doctoral students, and clinical and academic psychoanalytic candidates who want to deepen their engagement with psychosocial perspectives on organizations, work, and society.

This is a one-year, renewable, part-time position for doctoral students in fields such as organization studies, business and management, sociology, cultural studies, psychology, healthcare, and related disciplines, and clinical and academic psychoanalytic candidates, who wish to explore psychosocial approaches to organizations, work, and society within a supportive and intellectually vibrant community.

The Center for Psychosocial Organization Studies is dedicated to advancing scholarship and practice at the intersection of psychoanalysis, the social sciences, and organizational life. Our mission is to foster critical, interdisciplinary inquiry into how organizational structures and cultures shape human experience, and how psychosocial perspectives can illuminate possibilities for more humane forms of work and collective life.

About the Position
Doctoral Research Associates join a collegial network and contribute to collective projects while also developing their own research interests. The role is intentionally flexible, recognizing the demands of doctoral study, clinical training, and professional life. Doctoral Research Associates are encouraged to engage when their schedules allow and to tailor their contributions to areas most aligned with their goals.

Importantly, while the position begins unpaid, it is envisioned as a potential pathway toward a funded role, depending on the success of grant writing and fundraising efforts in which Doctoral Research Associates may play a part.

Responsibilities
Doctoral Research Associates will have opportunities to:

• Conduct and contribute to psychosocial research on organizations and related topics.
• Assist with grant writing, fundraising, and project development.
• Support communications and marketing efforts for Center activities.
• Participate in Center reading groups, seminars, and public events.
• Collaborate on publications, presentations, and other scholarly outputs.
